what are good men multi-vitamins who work out?
Posted by admin in Diet & Fitness on August 8, 2010
I’m 23 and I work out extensively (weight lifting), and I heard that people who work out need somewhat different vitamins.. I’ve been taking your standard centrum multi-vitamins, and recently ran out, any suggestions? I can shop @ GNC .. gold card discount is coming up

What does it mean when a girl mentions her boyfriend?
Posted by admin in Singles & Dating on March 28, 2010
A girl I “kinda” flirt with that I thought might be in to me threw in the fact that she has a boyfriend. I see here at a store I go to ever know and then. I have talked to here once or twice and she seemed to be some what happy to see me but that really does not mean anything. I went in to days in a row and made small talk at the register, she reciprocated then threw in the fact she has a boyfriend. Could she just be happy talking to me. I am not trying to pick here up any more. I think he has the clue I like her. I still need to go to the store form time to time(vitamin shop) but what would I do now just sit back and see what happens? I think the ball is in here cort now.

side effects/complications?
Posted by admin in Alternative Medicine on February 18, 2010
If you take a lot of homeopathic supplemets (fromplaces like GNC/Vitamin Shop)-can they have negative effects-
like on your liver (from metabolikzing them) and other blood tests (body function/body chemistry tests)
I don’t know the exact ones being used-but the person can’t figure out why the readings are high/low-
just wondering if I should suggest the supplements
Informed answers appreciated
As I said INFORMED answeres appreciated-
IDK is not an answer-i wonder if it is the same perosn answering idk all over Answers-
if idk-then don’t answer! it’s not cute
As I said-i don’t know what she takes-it’s a lot of differnet things–I don’t want to ask her and get her started nagging me that I should be taking this ans that….
i don’t think she takes more than the label recommends-but she takes a lot of different ones…

Aromatherapy Burners, diffusers, etc?
Posted by admin in Alternative Medicine on February 8, 2010
I’m wanting to start using Aromatherapy in my home. However, I’m confused on what I need and works best. I’ve seen burners, diffusers, nebulizers… I just want something simple that works good. It need not be electrical. This is also something I will most likely purchase online. So, any advice on good products would be helpful. My main online stores are Amazon, eBay and the Vitamin Shop ( I’m addicted to free shipping ). I would consider other sources, though.
So please, you Aromatherapy aficionados, advise me on some products and places to purchase.
Also, even though I can easily look this up; advice on oils for relaxation and healing would be appreciated.

Shopping for birth-control?
I am 25 and 20 weeks pregnant right now with my first. After my little girl is born I want to go on birth control. 2 or 3 years till my second.
I have never been on any type of birth-control other then the condom. I have always been afraid of all the side effects and I have a way of forgetting to take pills everyday. I’m getting better with that since I’m on my prenatal vitamins.
I want something safe, will not effect my body much or at all. I was thinking Mirena or some type of IUD. I can just put it in and forget about it for 3 years. BUT they scare me I hear it could mess up your chance of ever having another kid.
option 2 UnvaRing sounds just like the pill but it is monthly not daily I love that.
option 3 The old fashion pill. Like I said remembering to take a pill everyday is hard enough for me. So I don’t know if it will be best for me. But it has been around the longest and seems to work for everyone I know.
What do you use do you like it? Any side effects?

Any ideas for calming the redness on my face?
Posted by admin in Other - Skin & Body on October 17, 2009
I have combination skin and I normally use this to wash my face with:
http://images.buzzillions.com/images_products/03/65/clean_clear_morning_burst_detoxifying_reviews_2775550_raw.jpg
I use some other skin products too like the yellow clinique moisturizer and Body shop vitamin c products. My skin doesn’t break out unless its pms. But I have redness on about one or two inches of my cheeks, even when I wear makeup it won’t cover it. There is no bumps or anything there, so I was wondering if I just have rosy cheeks or if my skin is irritated from the sort of cleanser I’m using. Is there a way to calm the redness? I have sensitive skin… thanks (:

Retail store selling herbal, holistic vitamins or supplements in the LA and OC area?
Posted by admin in Los Angeles on July 1, 2009
I want to buy some Alkalizer solutions/pills (for pH balance), but online shopping takes couple of days for them to ship.
Does anyone know any retail stores that sell Alkalizer solutions or powder in the LA or Orange County area (California)?
Thanks.
